Capturing the background
The look of the background was achieved by using two seperate fabric samples.
Capturing the product
To capture the earings, I used a short focal length to capture the earings in detail, while letting the unfocused background hide any textures present in the textiles.
Floating Effect
To balance the earings mid-air, I used thread to hold them in place on a wooden frame. I then edited the string out of the image in Photoshop.
